Text: Galatians 6: 7: Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

The great warning in this verse lies in the delusion of thinking that we can deceive God. The law of sowing gives is a very clear teaching: everyone receives the fruits of what they planted. Every new day we have the opportunity to act well, to plant good things moved by the Spirit of God. But, whether or not it is so, it is our personal decision.
The Bible shows us countless examples of justice and the consequences of all our attitudes. To sow well we need to decide which seeds to sow and in which soil. It is all a matter of choosing. Plant good seeds in fertile soil and be sure that you will reap good fruit.

Start good seeds today:

  • See what type of seed you have planted. If you have planted badly and reaped what you do not like, it may be time to change your attitude. Ask God for forgiveness.
  • Review how you have behaved (with God, with your family, at work, with friends, etc.) and always seek to plant good seeds under God’s direction knowing fully well that What you sow you shall reap
  • Pray that your seeds can bless other people’s lives as well as yourself.
  • Sow good seeds in a practical way today: be gentle, show gratitude, help someone, forgive, show love.
  • Study the Bible and discover how to plant God pleasingly.
  • Converse with other believers in Christ and share with them the intention of producing good fruits for God.

Dear God, I know that You know my attitudes. No one can hide from you and there is no way to deceive you. Forgive my bad intentions and the wrong decisions I have made thus far. Help me to always sow good seeds. May I always take advantage of opportunities to sow good things in other people’s lives.  In the name of Jesus, amen.
