The Word of the Lord is true

Text: Psalm 33: 4: The word of the Lord is just; Faithful are all his works.

There is no word as true as the Word of the Lord! It is a living word that edifies and transforms us. In it, we find the necessary source for our life and through it, we can continue to bear fruit and grow in grace.
In a world full of false truths, fake news, and contests, the Bible is our safe harbor. Although it was written centuries ago, in it we find the true good news. Through the Word, we can advance in faith in this dark world so full of deception. God’s faithfulness brings us security and with that coverage, we can move on without fearing evil.

In the same way that an airplane pilot in the middle of a storm is guided by instruments and manages to land safely, so we must use the Bible as our spiritual navigation instrument. His words guide us and bring us light in the midst of darkness. Even without knowing what will happen – since tomorrow belongs to God – we must be guided by the Word and move forward in faith. Believe, God is faithful in everything he does! He loves us and everything that happens works for the good of those who love God (Romans 8:28).

Walking in the truth:

  • Make a biblical reading plan.
  • Create a habit of reading the Word of God daily. The body needs food to stay active and so the spirit too.
  • Put into practice what you read in the Word. Exercise your faith according to what you have meditated. To be a Christian is to put your faith into action.

Lord, your Word builds my life. In it, I find the source necessary to live. Your Word is true and I want to walk in your truth. Although sometimes I feel lost, I find the direction I need in your Word. Thank you very much for your love. In the name of Jesus, amen.
