The weapon of righteousness

Text: 2 Corinthians 6:7: By our message of truth, and by the power of God. We have righteousness as our weapon, both to attack and to defend ourselves
Have you ever imagine why many Christians are defenseless? Do you want to know the secret of the ever-victorious Christians that never lost any battle to the enemies? Our daily devotion today opens our eyes to see the necessity of holiness for every child of God.
Living a righteous life is never for the benefit of God. He’s who He has always been. Your righteousness or otherwise neither add or take away from Him. Instead, when we embrace a righteous living, we equip ourselves with a double fold weapon- offensive and defensive weapon of God.
When a child of God fails the test of righteousness, he becomes predispose to the manipulations of the enemies, simply because at the point, he’s left with nothing to defend himself with nor to launch an attack at the enemies.
Righteousness is therefore not an option if you want to continue to be victorious in this journey of life and faith. It is rather a necessity. It is your weapon and without it, you are defenseless.
