God does not forget you

Text: Isaiah 49: 15-16: Cana woman forgets her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me

The news of an abandoned baby sounds terrible to anyone’s ears. However, even if human parents – for some reason – were able to forget their little one, our Father God can not.
God is interested in even the simplest details of our life although many times we fail to perceive it. The love and care of God are visible in wide and diverse ways in all His creation and in how He sustains the vast and complex universe. In addition to that, He is also particularly attentive to each individual. God knows you so well that He knows what your limits are.
Although some may belittle you or forget you, the Lord Jesus knows you entirely and never abandon you. He is aware of your limitations, your potential and still understands your most specific needs.

Remember today that God does not forget you:

  • Take some time to reflect and present your needs and weaknesses to God in prayer. Although he already knows them, he wants you to develop excellent communication and a genuine friendship with him.
  • Read the Bible daily. We need to remember His Word at all times.
  • Prepare small notes with the truths you learn about God and place them in strategic places where you can see them (the schedule, the cell phone, your computer, the mirror, your desk, etc.). This will help you to be aware of the faithfulness and love of the heavenly Father.
  • Share with others that Jesus never abandons us even if some loved ones do. He cares about His children as a mother who takes care of her helpless baby. God is the loving Father who takes care of all who depend on him.

Lord God, I thank You for loving me with unconditional love. Despite my faults, you always care about me. Forgive me because I forget this when I am in difficulties and I even think that you are far from me. Thank you because you do not forget even when I forget to look for You or to thank You. Please help me to remember and always trust Your Word. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
