Enjoy the peace of God
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)
In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to be caught in a cycle of defending your position. However, this often causes stress and fatigue which can affect not only us but those around us as well.
Jesus was going through a tough time of persecution and tribulation when he shared this verse with his disciples. Despite the difficult circumstances, Jesus spoke words of peace to them.
Christ is the one who can truly bring us peace. A fleeting moment of serenity in a world filled with strife, Christ offers something much more lasting and comforting – even if it doesn’t always make sense to our human minds at first.
Take some time out of your day to remember that the one who conquered this world is with you. Calm yourself by remembering that he has overcome everything and wants what’s best for you, just like a loving parent would do.

When we are going through tough times or feeling lost, it can be really easy to forget our worth in Christ. We need only take five minutes each day during which we actively think about God’s power over us when practicing meditation as well as praying throughout the rest of our days. When negative thoughts begin entering into my mind I try meditating on how much more powerful He truly is than anything else this earth has been thrown at him!

How to Receive the His peace:
- We are given the ability to access God’s peace through prayer. We should pour out our fears and anguish on him as he is able to comfort us more than anyone else can.
- God’s word is a comforting ally, calming our hearts and directing us in the ways of wisdom. When we seek God through prayerful meditation on His Word, He becomes an ever-present guide to those who truly desire Him as their Lord and Savior.
Lord Jesus, only you can soothe my soul. I trust in your power and the strength of your word. May I enjoy your peace today; may you pour out Your Spirit on me as well! Amen.
Stay blessed and enjoy the peace of God.
