Good news every day in 2021
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
(Luke 2: 10-11)
Each day brings something new into our life as we follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Our hope is renewed in Christ and through him, we receive direction and encouragement even amid difficult times.
That is the biggest difference of those of us who have Jesus: we know that with God we are more than conquerors and that everything contributes to God being glorified. It is in Christ that we overcome barriers: we go from faith to faith and from glory to glory.
But beyond knowing the good news of salvation, it is up to us to announce it to those who have not yet heard of Jesus. When we are a channel of blessing in people’s lives, we live full of joy and do the Lord’s work.
But when they believed Philip, who was announcing the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized. (Acts of the Apostles 8:12)
Knowing that we are actively contributing to the Kingdom of God makes us happy and gives us more strength to proclaim the Word of God with authority and power. God doesn’t want us to just keep His Word in our hearts: He also wants us to share the Bread of Life with everyone!

Announcing the Good News
- Make an effort to read God’s Word daily. Take advantage and share with someone a little of what you learned.
- The Good News of the Gospel is for everyone. Don’t restrict them or be respectful of the individual person’s need of salvation.
- Our attitudes are a way of announcing the Word of God. Bear a good testimony.
Lord Jesus, I thank you very much for giving me salvation. There is nothing more pleasant than knowing that I was saved by you, that you love me, and that you want to use me as an instrument in your hands. Use me, Lord, and make me a carrier of your goodness throughout my lifetime! Amen
