I am with you
Text: Isaiah 41:10: So do not fear, because I am with you; Do not be distressed, because I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will support you with my victorious right hand.
Sometimes we know which way to go and what to do, but still we get a “touch” of fear, enough to prevent our progress. To live the supernatural is to overcome fears, it is to move forward with the eyes of faith instead of being carried away by natural ones.
In the Bible we find several stories that show that our natural eyes are not enough to activate our faith. Imagine the first steps of the Hebrew people advancing through the Red Sea, or Joshua’s troop playing the trumpet in Jericho. God works wonders that seem crazy to our eyes and that can make us feel some fear. But the solution is to be clear that He is with us at all time.
Only God is able to perform the supernatural to bless us. We have to be clear about our trust in God. When we truly trust the Lord, fear loses strength because we know that God is capable of doing the impossible. He is with us! And if God is on our side, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
Do not fear, he is with you!
- Read the Bible. Increase your trust in God by being aware of everything he has already done in your life.
- Strengthen your relationship with God through prayer. Prayer makes us stronger spiritually and increases our trust in God.
- Increase your communion with the brethren. Walking together gives us confidence, and God is present in our midst.

Lord God, you do the impossible and you are able to provide a way out where it seems that there is none. Give me the courage to advance firmly in your promises. I don’t want to stand still, I want to move forward and achieve everything you’ve already prepared for me. In the name of Jesus, amen.
